What we do

AHRIDA brings together leading African, regional coalitions — CHReaD (East Africa), SAHTAC (Southern Africa), and Speak Up Africa (West Africa) — to harness the continent’s growing R&D expertise and unify efforts in health research, development, and innovation. Building on the foundational work of AMREF Health Africa, CHReaD, Speak Up Africa, and SAHTAC, AHRIDA strengthens policy alignment, advocacy, and capacity building to enable African governments and institutions to lead in driving impactful, life–saving, health solutions across the continent.
